The OSDBU works as an advocate to maximize participation of small businesses in Department contracts, through outreach to the business community and partnerships with the Department office to develop and implement acquisition strategies for achieving contracting objectives.
What is the OSDBU responsible for?
The SADBU representative provides guidance and advice to agency programs and contract officials on small business programs. They are also involved in helping contractors develop relationships with Primes and contracting officers. Creating a bridge between contractor and agent responsible for the contract is their speciality. They know all of the contacts in their department and can get your business in front of the right people.
