Finding Prime Contractor’s in Select GCR Pro

Searching for Business Primes within your State

SGCRP Home Page – Click on “New Search”. On the next page click on “Contractor’s”.

On the search page you have the option to select from the dropdowns or to fill in specific information for your search. For our example we entered the NAICS 541611, chose the state of Florida, and checked the box next to “Contracts with Award History”. This shows us all SAM registered businesses in the state of Florida that have the NAICS 541611 in their profile, and that have attained government contracts. So, these are business Prime contractors that need small business, woman, veteran, minority, & HUBZone certified subcontractors. The search results provided 318 business Prime contacts.

Now What?

Click on the “Contractor Name”, for example “YIPCPA, LLC” to view their profile.

Within the Business Prime’s profile, view their Name, Phone Number, Email Address, Website, NAICS, PSC’s, Award History, and much more. Through this process you can search for businesses that are attaining contracts within your industry (NAICS) and state for subcontracting purposes. You can now contact them directly to determine if there is synergy between your businesses for government and commercial opportunities.

* In Step 4 you will learn how to contact and communicate with Primes, plus register your business as a subcontractor, supplier, or vendor.
