As we are proud and grateful for our military every day, our Nation takes the month of May to show our appreciation. In 1999, National Military Appreciation Month was established. Our military is vital in the freedom and safety of this great Nation. The United States of America is a world leader because of the strength of our Military. We take this month to honor the service and sacrifice of our military: Active Duty, Guard, Reserve and Veterans.
Military Spouse Appreciation
Not only are the members of our military important to recognize, but spouses and families are vital in providing support and are deserving of our appreciation as well. We recognize them during a dedicated day every year that falls during Military Appreciation Month.
Members of the Marines, Army, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, Space Force, and National Guard, as well as their families, are appreciated by our company as a whole and as individuals. We all here to support and love the men and women who put their lives on the line for our Freedom.
Memorial Day
Memorial Day, which always falls on the last Sunday of May, is a day we collectively remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice made while fighting for our freedom and liberty. The US has memorials, monuments, and ceremonies to honor and respect those who have fallen. Americans across the US receive a day off from work to celebrate the lives of those lost to war. Most people honor the fallen with barbeques in their honor or spending time with loved ones.
Armed Forces Day
Armed Forces Day, which always falls on the third Saturday of May, is dedicated to paying tribute to those military members currently serving in the Armed Forces. Our former president, Harry S. Truman, is the lead advocator for this day. Unification of all military forces is the focus and showing support for all members. You could see parades and local celebrations to honor all of those serving in military forces.
